Dang Digest: Volume V

Staff WriterBlog

Team Dang is off to a strong start in 2018 with our grassroots events and us rolling up our sleeves to give back to the local community.  Read up on where we’ve been across the County during this month.

Montgomery County MLK Day of Service – Rockville

We honored Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of promoting equality, tolerance, and economic opportunity for all by giving back to the community. The campaigned stocked up food for shelters in the local region. Thank you to all of the Team Dang volunteers who joined us. Check out photos from our service day by clicking here. November was packed with meet & greet events for Team Dang! From Silver Spring to Rockville, and then from Bethesda to Gaithersburg — voters from across the County shared their issues and learned about Hoan‘s plans to address those issues. Interested in hosting a meet & greet event for Hoan, too? Email Jonathon Rowland for more information or simply reply to this email.

Meet & Greet Events in Chevy Chase & Bethesda

Thank you to all of our event hosts who connected us with everyday residents earlier this month. We met so many experts in their fields who shared ideas on how to improve the County. If you want to host a meet & greet event as well, please email: Hoan@VoteDang.com.

The 2018 Woman’s March

We celebrated the first anniversary of the Women’s March with the Women’s Democratic Club. One week later, we went down to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool 2018 Women’s March. The event energized us to work hard for a strong victory in the Democratic Primary. Do you want to make sure Hoan gets elected to the County Council? Please sign up here.

2018 Festival and New Year Celebration – Gaithersburg

Our team joined the Chinese Alumni Associations of Greater Washington to celebrate the new year at Gaithersburg High School. We connected with many Chinese American community leaders and families in Montgomery County to learn about the issues that matter most to them. It was great to see Congressman Jamie Raskin and Maryland State Senator Susan Lee there, too!
