Our campaign has been in full swing since Hoan officially declared his candidacy for Montgomery County (At-Large) over a month now! Hoan has been making rounds across the County – knocking on doors, attending community events, and meeting with residents. Knocking on Doors in Wheaton Neighborhood’s

With sleeves rolled up last Saturday morning, Hoan talked to registered voters in his old neighborhood of Silver Spring about his candidacy for Montgomery County Council At-Large.”My favorite campaign activity is knocking on doors,” said Dang. “You never know who you’ll run into. You always leave with a great story and a renewed sense that people want change in their County Government.”

National Night Out with CASA de Maryland 

Hoan celebrated National Night Out at CASA de Maryland in Langley Park/Takoma Park. He met with community leaders and local residents to discuss the important need to have police-community partnerships for our growing diverse communities in the County.

Women’s Democratic Club Monthly Happy Hour 

Excitement was in the air with so many active members who attended the monthly Montgomery County Women’s Democratic Club (WDC) Happy Hour on July 13. It was an opportunity to connect with WDC members, friends (old and new), and other candidates running in the 2018 elections.

Leisure World of Maryland 4th of July Parade

Hoan, along with family, friends and volunteers, participated in the Leisure World of Maryland 4th of July Parade. Hoan had a chance to speak with residents about their issues and what they wanted to see in their next County Council. At the end of the parade, Hoan remarked, “Only in America can a former political refugee celebrate democracy as a political candidate.”
